Amazing City View Residences - Penthouse & Apartment

Spent 3 nights here. Very good location, in close proximity to shops, restaurants, bus stop, plus Herastrau Park . Overall had a very pleasant experience, will definitely want to stay here again when we are back in Bucharest.

Good locations, nice terrace, large apartment.

Way before my arrival (when I still had the option to cancel the booking), I asked the owner if there is an elevator in the building because I would be coming with my mother, who is 74 years old and struggling with stairs. The owner answered yes, just "forgot" to mention that the elevator is only until the 5th floor, then you must climb very steep stairs to the 6th floor, where the apartment is... The overall cleanliness was not so satisfying; the floor was dusty. The kitchen was poorly equipped (for example, only one teaspoon, one espresso cup...) not really suitable for cooking if that was your plan. There was a Nespresso machine but no capsules, so the first thing when you arrive at the apartment is that if you want to drink coffee, you must go down (on the stairs) to the closest grocery store (5-8 minute walk) to buy it for yourself. No need for unlimited capsules, but two capsules for welcome are standard in an apartment, in my opinion. The balcony door handle was broken down; you can open it with the key while you cut your finger with the broken metal that stands out from the door (as I did). The bathroom floor, even the shower floor, is made from standard indoor tiles, which makes it extremely slippery and dangerous, especially for elderly people. These are small things that can be done well. It is very anoying if someone is not investing in them.

Smell of smoke (like a chain smoker lived there before us), too hot (uncomfortably hot, waking up with headache hot), mould and peeling paint in the shower

Facilities are good

There were things that didn’t work, like washing machine, a heater, a lamp, and a window.

Nice big terrace overlooking the city. In a relatively quite area but close enough to the center. Large living room and equally large and comfortable bedroom.

The showerhead was leaking some water. Could be easily fixed.

Location is good and apartment has its terrace.

The furniture and curtains are very old. You may feel dust and cigarette. Definitely some refurbishment needed.
