Spacious 2 Bdr Flat in the Old Town

Great location, clean, tidy, and excellent amenities.

Mattresses were quite thin.

The location of the apartment was perfect for exploring the old town area. The apartment was clean. Although we didn't see the host, they were very active on booking.com messages. Self check in and check out details were easy to follow.

The apartment block is run down looking but it is secure with fob/key access. Lift is small if you are nervous of lifts.

The flat is in the vicinity of old town which is neat and the instructions for reaching it are clear. The host is really nice and responsive and the flat itself is well equipped.

Even though it was fixed on the penultimate day of our stay, we spent most of our stay without internet connection.

No mirrors in one of the bedrooms. Made it slightly more awkward for getting ready in the mornings

We booked the apartment for 6 nights. Great location- in the old city of Bucharest.

The building itself is very old, with 2 lifts which are really scaring. Arrived to the apartment at night- near the entrance there was a homeless. At one of the nights in the building itself there was some drunk man who vomited in the stairs. Not a pleasant building. The instructions to get to the appartment were not clear and the host didn't answer at 3:00 am. The communication with the host is after 09:00 am only- she doesn't answer before. The apartment itself was clean. However, we saw few cockroaches. In the small bedroom the bed was very uncomfortable and my children slept in the sofa bed in the living room. Also, the small bedroom was very cold. In one of the nights the electricity went out only in our apartment and we didn't receive any response from the host till 09:00 am. The problem was solved at 12:00 only and the host even hasn't apologized. Just said she was glad to help us with solving the issue. Day before check- out we asked the host if we can have a late check out- she said me to talk to her next morning and she will see the availability. Next morning she said that other guests are coming and we need to leave at time- 11:00. However, the apartment was available in the booking- that means that nobody had to come. We left the apartment at 11:20 and the host called me twice during these 20 minutes to see if we already left. Very unpleasant experience.
