I had a really great stay overall! (8 night stay) Fabio was an amazing host from the moment I arrived... He greeted me warmly and even invited me over for dinner with his family who live opposite, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. I even got to take a plate home which was a lovely touch! The house itself is very cute and has everything you need. Both bedrooms upstairs are a really good size, comfortable, both with air con, and one even has a small balcony. The kitchen was also bigger than I expected and well equipped with plenty of cutlery and utensils, and all the appliances like the cooker, fridge, lights worked perfectly. The bathroom downstairs is small but very clean, and the shower had great water pressure. For the price, the house really exceeded my expectations. The location is a bit further from the main areas of Albufeira, but Ubers are easy to get so it was not an issue for me at all. The neighbourhood feels very close knit, and you will likely meet some of the neighbours during your stay, they won't bother you though. I would definitely stay here again, mainly because Fabio and his family were such lovely hosts.

The bathroom being downstairs while the bedrooms are upstairs meant going up and down the stairs quite a bit when getting ready, which is something to keep in mind... Also because of this, you have to be careful not to make the stairs wet. Some of the kitchen items like the pots and pans could be updated as a few were a bit worn or rusty. It would also have been nice to have a few extra basics when checking in, like a roll of bin/trash bags and more toilet paper provided. The sofa in the living area could be more comfortable or a bit bigger, and the dining chairs being metal were not the most comfortable to sit on for longer periods. Softer seating would make a big difference. It can be a very noisy in the mornings or some nights because of the neighbours’ dogs, but they are friendly so it is not a huge issue... Overall, a calm stay with a great host, just a few small improvements or up-to-date features that could make it even better!

Fabio is an excellent host. He goes the extra miles to advise on places you need to visit. All his recommendations were bang on. He made us save money on visiting islands and even keep us updated with any events in the area. The location is excellent if you enjoy visiting the whole Algarve. Accessible to all the routes needed and in a quiet place. Honestly we loved everything even the BBQ. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was like at home. My family has allergies and we don’t hay issues with the house and linens. Everything was spotless and no dust in the house. Hats off to the cleaning team. No issues with parking and safe area. Definitely will recommend to my families and friends. It’s a must place to stay.
