"A great location and good value for money with a very friendly owner"

The apartment is very nice and well furnished with loads of wardrobe and cupboard space. Nadine, the owner, is a very nice person, willing to help with any problem. The apartment is in a secure complex and has a security gate in front of the door so you can really relax once inside - South Africa has a bit of a reputation for being dangerous but I have visited many times and never had the slightest problem. The closeness of the TygerValley shopping mall with it's many restaurants was a large factor in our booking.

South Africa has introduced 'Load shedding' basically power cuts and these can occur three or four times a day (each slot being two hours or so). Nadine has invested in an 'Inverter' which stores electricity whilst the power is on and then releases it when there is no power so WiFi and TV and mobile charging can still function.
