Location

The apartment was dirty as hell.

Location. Easy free parking very close to the apartment. We had some problem with the internet and staircase light but the owner solve them very quickly.

The location of the flat was right next to the central market place of Algeciras. The bus and train station were in 5 minutes walking distance.

The check-in was really difficult. The owners of the flat are not working on weekends. Instead, they activated an AI to answer your questions. We did not received an answer to a question we sended during the week (so their official opening hours) concerning the check-in procedure. When we arrived early, we tried to communicate with the AI how to get the access code. They said it will be sended on the arrival day. But a few hours before the check-in time we still did not received the code. We got really scared to not receive the code at all. The AI told us emergency phone numbers to call for help. With different questions to the AI and research, we had 3 different telephone numbers, that should belong to the responsible person. Only one of these numbers was active, but noone answered the calls. Therefore, we were waiting 1 1/2 h in front of the flat, asking some people who were walking around in the lower level of the building (fortunately the front door was open). There was a sign: "We are not the reception of the H... apartments", so I guess there have been those check-in problems before. The woman was anyway very kind and called the owner on his private phone number. Half an hour later we received the code.

- Apartment in the city center, unfortunatelly this is the only advantage...

This aprartment is perfect for those, who love to live in dirty conditions, use the used bedsheets and pillows, have dirty towels, and lovely view on the staircase then it is apartment for you. To be less sarcastic: - The room was very dirty, it had not been properly cleaned after previous guests - Bedsheets were sprayed with some kind of deodorant instead of being replaced and cleaned - Bathroom was very dirty and odourous, it had been cleaned with water, without any proper chemicals - When during our check-in we asked cleaning lady to once again tide our room she washed the bathroom with dirty cloath and water… - You can forget about fast contact with the host, we received answers after few days. We wrote about the poor quality of cleaning service and there was a reaction – the same cleaning lady came and did exactly same “cleaning”. It was obvious that they do not have any sufficient cleaning chemicals, which cannot be understandable while doing touristic business…
