The Fuggle

An exceptional property. Everything was of the highest standard and John was a generous host who made us so welcome, this was the first night of our honeymoon and he even left a complimentary bottle of bubbly, we can't wait to return. The real ales and food in the inn are of the highest quality - not to be missed.

Absolutely nothing!!

Stunning room, exceeding all expectations.

The room was wonderful. It was a little bit of luxury and quirkiness in a beautiful quiet location. Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and had gone to great lengths to think and provide everything you might need and even items you didn’t know you needed but you did. The quality of the facilities was excellent and we would have gladly moved into the Fuggle for good. We particularly loved the luxury of a very comfortable four poster bed and we really appreciated the Spock wall picture….The room has a private terrace with seating and a table and chairs. We ate a cooked breakfast, prepared ourself in the well quipped kitchen. The apartment is part of the Bluebell pub and we had dinner in the pub’s restaurant, the service and food were excellent. You are advised to book before you go as the restaurant gets very busy. The owners have their own brewery on site and we sampled the beers, which were delicious. We will definitely go back and stay longer. It’s the perfect location for exploring the area.

The decor was quirky, and the room was very comfortable, with a good little kitchen attached. Good hot shower too. The host was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing to dislike

Everything! It had everything we needed and it was spacious.

The decked area outside was so peaceful. The room was beautifully decorated and felt luxe without feeling cluttered. It was a really calm environment. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The kitchen had enough utensils to make a meal without feeling cluttered. The host was really nice and showed us around. There are lovely touches in the room with a remote to turn off lamps in the room, speakers built into the ceiling, a complimentary bowl of fruit in front of a large smart TV with all of the streaming apps on it. We could not believe the place was so cheap for what we offered. We are really sorry we did not get time to visit the pub the Fuggle is attached to as it is run by the same people, so must be great.

The check in and out was very easy. Everything you need was available within the space and also very clear instructions book. The bed was very comfortable

Everything, fantastic apartment, host, facilities. Quirky, well equipped, very clean, great location, carvery was amazing a right gem this place is. would very highly recommend. We will be back. Thank you John and team.
