Artsy Old Town Apartment

The Location - absolutely perfect.

We arrived later in the afternoon and it was already dark in Bucharest on 25.12 - winter time in Romania.The directions how to enter the apartment were rather unacurate. No indication which entrance of the building to use and also not known on which floor is the apartment... We struggled to get hold of the host by phone for more than 30 minutes and had to stay in the cold until eventually one of our calls was answered and we managed to get the correct information how to check in. When we entered the apartment it was ice cold inside. Despite the winter, all heating facilities were switched off and it seemed that the place has not been used for some time (no central heating, no aircon on). We tried to get some assistance from the host, but were told that they are not able to help us and all this by sending messages forwards and backwards - the host was not willing to talk to us over the phone. So, after a car trip of 7 hours, It took us several hours to warm up the place by airconditioning, which was definitely not pleasant. During most of the time of our first night in Bucharest we were feeling seriously cold and unconfortable.

spacious place with nice beds. the building entrance looks a bit dodgy but it's right to a busy street close to hotels and restaurants. kitchen is stocked with lots of stuff (coffee, tea, salt, peper, oils etc)

the livingroom table was too low, my legs didnt fit under it so i could not work from there comfortably. i had to spend lots of time in starbucks around the corner.

Clean, spacious, bonus is the little balcony. Location in old center.

Nice and very clean apartment with balcony. Very good location in the city center. Comfortable bed.

Apartment was lovely. Beautifully decorated, host was extremely helpful and the place was very comfortable and very clean.

Location didn't feel safe as we often encountered people blocking the entrance when we were coming home.

Some problem with check in but At the end everything was good

Everything looked nice and comfy on booking, but when we checked in we found very unpleasant friends: bugs and beetles, considering that we had a baby with us: it's dangerous! We were highly disappointed.
