Budapest Residence

The location is good, neat the city center, but the rest not so. It need some improvement and after that it will be good.

The location was good

First we were directed to wrong apartment then when we get finally to the correct place, the landlord asked me to pay. The landlord told me the amount and I paid it. About 3 - 4 hours later the landlord daughter called me that she cancels my reservation because, I paid less that the actual amount. I told her that I paid what the landlord (mom) told me and I didn't really calculate it myself. This was not nice feeling at all, actually I asked them to pay in advance thru bank but for this they didn't even replied. The apartment is kind of OK but few things like ashtray full of cigarettes and here there not very clean. Parking is good, except in small place 3 cards were squished and good luck of getting your car when someone has parked after you. Anyway, it's OK place but I don't get how it's so highly rated in booking, I just don't see it.

We were traveling from Sofia, and found out that we forgot the border documents when we reached Ruse. So we got back to Sofia and then back to Bucharest, thus arriving 10 hours later. The host was excellent and waited for us at 12 o'clock in the night. The room was in a very good condition, hot water for long showers. It is 10 minutes walk from the old town and Parliament.

Clean, cozy studio, quiet.
