Apartment Karega

This was a fantastic apartment to base ourselves for 3 weeks of exploring the Croatian coast with our 2 children. Its perfectly located right next to the old town, has all the facilities you need and the terrace and balcony are perfect to relax in. Parking was easy enough to figure out - we found zone 2 parking nearby which was quite cheap. Would definitely recommend this place to families, and we also loved the extra touches like a bottle of wine and some complimentary fruit on arrival! :)

An amazing apartment that had everything, dishwasher, washing machine and plenty of room to move about. It was close to shops and close to the old town. We came by bus and it was only a 10 minute walk away. The owners had left a welcome bottle of wine for us which we thought was very kind of them. There was only 2 of us but the apartment could accommodate at least 5 people which makes it a super bargain.

It was very warm but the beds had fleecy duvet covers and pillowcases which made the heat worse. We couldn't get the TV to work but that might have been us being thick.

A tucked away special space that felt like home. I enjoyed baking and it was even a pleasure hanging washing out from the balcony. I added an extra day in beautiful Šibenik just so I could enjoy the feeling of living there. My dog felt relaxed right away and the yard is dog safe, so no worries. There's a huge aromatic rosemary bush, so I used it to make rosemary focaccia. Popping out for a wander in the old town was something I did at least once a day, head the other way up the hill and steps and you are at the fortresses. The best day was mountain biking St Anthony's Canal, after hiring a bike from Blue Green, my dog running beside me for the off road bit.

The location was perfect. 2 minutes from a supermarket and just across the road from the centre of the old town. Apartment is spacious with everything you will need. The host was informative on check in and was available should we have needed him however there were no issues at all. Would definitely stay again if we we are back in Sibenik.

No view from the balcony due to the old town buildings being so close however having a ground floor terrace and an upper balcony was great for morning/evening food and drinks.
