Hate throws on settees it means the sofa is dated and spoilt. Owner could do with just a few high spec alterations New settee, new table & chairs. The kitchen unit wood was peeling away - needs repair No artificial flowers Pools not heated 6 in total 2 are 1.3m, 1 toddler pool, the rest are 1.5 metres Pool bar great food reasonably priced A little quiet when we went Beach amazing one of the best in the Algarve

The location was amazing, close to the sea and restaurants, as well as supermarket. Anything was walking distance and there are also buses that runs through to other areas. The pool we have access to was just fantastic. There are 7 pools altogether with various depth (for small children to adult) so anyone can enjoy. It was just heavenly coming back from the beach and have a fresh cool off at the pool before going back to the apartment. The apartment comes with everything you need, all basic/extensive kitchenware and big range of dishes to cater a big family if you will. The air-conditioner in each room was functional and shower had good water pressure and enough hot water. The highlight for us was the huge balcony where we can hang out or eat lunch. The host was also very accommodating, we had a few questions during the stay and pretty much immediately we had answers. Definitely recommended and we would stay again.

It was difficult finding the key box - even though it was placed secure and the idea of not having to arrange a meet up with anyone was perfect considering we were arriving late, it was like a treasure hunting. Mosquitoes - watch those fuckers, make sure you close windows right before sunset to avoid them coming in. The host provided a good tip for it but we unfortunately didn't read it until we were bitten a several times. Noise! We are facing against the busy road and hotels where seemingly party people come home late - a few nights we were woken up from those loud talking people and trucks passing by but this can easily be avoided if you close windows and have air conditioning on. Didn't work for us since our kids get sick from air cons. If you don't have a car things to do are limited. It was fine for us because we just wanted to chill on the beach and pool, but for those active people you may want to rent a car or bikes. Mercado Municipal doe Calicos market (20min bus ride) is highly recommended for those who like to cook home, they have all fresh local food like seafood, vegi and fruits.

Beach is in walking distance. Multiple pools. Lots of parking. Fully equipped kitchen. Very clean! Short drive to old town and to many supermarkets.
