Theonymfi Luxury Villas

The location: half an hour drive to Corfu town; 10 mins to the beach at Lipiades; pleasant walk into village for meals out. The pool and gardens; shaded by olive trees and good sized barbecue with nice places to sit out. The generosity of our host. We were late arriving, he met us at the villa with fridges stocked and allowed us a late check out for which we were super grateful.

We did originally think we were getting one villa with 7 bedrooms. It’s actually 2 x 3 bed villas and a separate guest house which has a walk in shower and washing machine and double bed upstairs but to be honest, none of us wanted to sleep in there. The configuration worked out for us but guests should be aware that one villa has a room with twin beds; and a room with double bed upstairs and a double with separate bathroom downstairs. The second villa also has double bedroom and separate bathroom downstairs and a double bedroom with en suite (big enough for travel cot) and a small room with double bed. Stairs are open tread in both villas. Parking is opposite the villas. We didn’t see the sign when we first arrived and drove down the narrow drive and then had to reverse up!

Het huis had een praktische indeling en was van alle gemakken voorzien. Het was schoon en de tuin met zwembad zag er geweldig uit. Je zit wat afgelegen, dus een auto is wel een must, maar alles is binnen 20-30 minuten te bereiken en de stranden zelfs sneller. De eigenaar was uiterst vriendelijk en stond direct voor ons klaar wanneer we een vraag hadden. Het huis ligt vlak bij een prachtig dorpje met op het plein drie heerlijke restaurantjes waar je echt traditionele gerechten kunt eten.

In principe viel niets ons tegen. De Wifi heeft niet altijd een sterk signaal, waar je mogelijk wel rekening mee moet houden aangezien Google maps wel een noodzaak is op het eiland.

Great location with beautiful garden. We arrived late, and the host thoughtfully provided breakfast food in the fridge. Very helpful and accommodating host! Truly recommend this property.

Schöne, ruhige Lage. Grundausstattung an Lebensmitteln wurden schon bereitgestellt: Toast, Wurst, Käse, Saft, Milch, Kaffee, Filtertüten, Wasser. Sauber und gepflegt.

the villa was clean and comfortable, the pool was always spotless, and the garden beautifully maintained. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive, helping us quickly and efficiently with anything we needed. The location is also nice – right in the middle of the island, making it easy to reach many beautiful beaches by car.

The propery is large, clean, comfortable and well equipped. There is a private pool and parking. The owner Christos and very nice and attentive. Located in a very charming village 10 minutes from the beach.

I would have preffered something closer to the beach but its a matter of personal taste.

The villa is spacious and set in lovely grounds with a swimming pool, bbq & pizza oven. A fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture and very clean throughout. The bedrooms are all a good size, and the beds very comfortable. It is a very easy and lovely walk, about 15mins, up to Doukades.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Everything was perfect in our stay at Theonymphi Luxury Villas. We received a lot of useful information when we arrived. The place is super clean and tidy. There are 2 large rooms with double beds, and another room which is small and has 2 single beds. The kitchen has everything you need and the owner even put some essential groceries in the fridge! The communication with the owner was really easy and fast. We really liked the location of the villa. It was isolated on one hand, and on the other hand, it was a 2 minute drive to Doukades , which is a lovely village with several Tavernas in its center. It was also very near to the Paleokastritsa beaches (12 minutes) and 30 minute drive from Corfu city.

This is real Greece, located in the hills away from the busy tourist areas. So lovely and quiet but only a short 10min walk to the charming village centre of Doukades. Where you’ll find several restaurants all offering fabulous food, atmosphere, value and service. The owner Christos was so helpful too and we can’t thank him enough for making us feel so welcome. My two teenage boys loved the pool. Despite the property being inland it’s only a several mile drive to some amazing beaches.
