nice, clean, well equipped

the entrance at the end of the alley can be a bit creepy at night

I was using Dordrecht as a base for visiting nearby cities (Rotterdam, Den Haag, Geldermalsen) on business, so I needed a place close to the station. Sheepyhead is 5 minutes from the station, but in a quiet residential street; it's also within an easy walk of the historic town centre. The unit is a ground-floor studio at the back of the building, with a small fenced patio that I didn't use because it was winter. It was very warm (welcome in a cold-snap). It is spacious, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully furnished. Everything works; the kitchen area has two modern electric hotplates as well as a refrigerator, and because I can't live without fresh coffee I was very happy to find a coffee-maker and a generous supply of coffee pods (caffeinated and decaffeinated) as well as teabags. The host was very helpful and responsive. And there's a supermarket five minutes away.

There are three funky coathooks and otherwise no place for clothes storage (I was there for a week...). Some clothes hangers would be welcome.

The place met all our expectations judging from the photos. The price/quality ratio is a huge advantage of this accommodation. The host was helpful and answered all of my questions. The localization was also great, very close to the station and from there to the biggest cities in Netherlands. Totally recommend.

This is a very chic and elegant small apartment, very conveniently located for the town centre and the station. I found the bed extremely comfortable. Not a lot in the way of kitchen equipment, but enough for simple cooking. I didn't meet the host but he was extremely responsive to messages and texts which I really appreciated. I found Dordrecht to be a wonderful town, with fabulous riverside areas and many individual and interesting shops.

On occasions, the neighbours were quite noisy. I understand that this is completely outside the control of the host and the noise did not go on late at night. It in no way disturbed my enjoyment of the apartment.
