Cosy Oasis in the heart of Sea Point

The unit was well appointed and neat. The building is secure and well kept (outside the construction areas). Sound insulation is good, and at night, I was never disturbed by the activities on Main Rd. Very comfortable bed. Fast internet, which made planning outings and transport options a breeze too. MyCiti busses are very reliable and 50m away from the door. The novel open-air "cupboard" was more than enough space for my needs, so the unit stayed as spacious as the photographs promise.

Construction noise and smells from 07:30 to 17:00 on both sides of the building during the week. They are building an extension to the property, so it is on your doorstep, literally. When it is completed, it will be wonderful, I'm sure. The whole of seaboard is building, though, so there was little escaping the noise even in restaurants all along that part of the coast.

The apartment is cosy and with enough room for two. Location was good.

During our stay there were two construction sites just nearby and the noise was unfortunately really disturbing especially in the morning while we were still sleeping. Noise reduction could be improved through the door and windows.
