The property is welcoming and allowed us to reach the centre of Edinburgh in just a few minutes. In addition, the bus stop is close to the flat and many lines reach most of Edinburgh. I highly recommend this property also because it is in a quiet area with little traffic. The train line that passes nearby cannot be heard thanks to the structure of the house.

The apartment is lovely, spacious and clean. Everything worked and the coffee pods appreciated. The location was good - a 20 minute (evening) / 30+ minute Saturday daytime bus ride into the centre of Edinburgh. We chose the location to be away from the noise of city centre apartments and close to Edinburgh university kings building.

However, I would not have booked this property if I’d been aware of the very loud traffic noise which meant sleeping was very problematic. The apartment is close to the main road and traffic noise to both bedrooms was very loud particularly as windows are single glazed. Sadly I had not packed earplugs. Another major sleep problem was the excessively bright emergency lights which flooded the upstairs bedroom with light throughout the night and, as emergency, could not be switched off. This would have been ok if there was a blind or covering for the tall window from the mezzanine bedroom. No eye mask either. Not the fault of the property, but sleep was further evaded by a couple of incredibly loud neighbours at no 11 who were in and out of their property on the front steps smoking and talking / shouting animatedly. The front steps are directly underneath the top floor bedroom of the apartment so it was impossible to sleep with their noise too. This continued until after 1am! I asked them to speak more quietly but the response was pretty aggressive. So all in all a really bad night’s sleep. The neighbours may have been bad luck but the traffic noise is something that could be flagged up and bright light is something that really needs to be sorted. A shame as a very nice apartment. Another point of feedback to the owners is that I needed to contact them as was struggling to work out how to get into the key box but kept getting answer machine even though was in the stated hours.

Great clear communication and instructions of how to access the property and timely. Clean and spacious. Great location.

Slightly high in price compared to other areas over £400 for 2 nights.

Quite big ,comfortable house, en suite bathroom for both bedrooms, 20 minutes by bus to city centre. 30 minutes drive to airport .

Kitchen was not so well equipped, but it was manageable.

Fijn en ruim appartement met alle voorzieningen. Bij aankomst in de avond kwamen we binnen in een gezellig en lekker warm appartement. Daarna 4 dagen genoten van het prachtige Edingburgh. Heel fijn ook dat de eigenaar op 1 minuut lopen van het appartement een gratis bagageopslag aanbiedt voor als je wat later op de dag een vlucht hebt. Zo hebben wij op de dag van vertrek nog kunnen genieten van een bezoek aan Craigmiller Castle.
