The Broughton Retreat by Calton Living

Location was excellent but apartment was very dusty and there was a strong smell of damp but thankfully we weren’t in the apartment much. Shower was awful, 3 ladies and none of us could use to wash our hair.

It is sold as a 4 but the sofa bed was very thin. We were a 3 so 1 guest just slept on the couch which wasn’t ideal or that comfortable.

Great position close to the city centre, train and bus station. The house is spacious and the bed is super comfortable. Great plus also for tea and coffee available in the kitchen. The host is nice and friendly

There were only uk power outlets, maybe it would be better to have usb charging ports especially for mobile phones.

great contact with the host perfect location clean, quiet and nicely furnished apartment pubs, restaurants, shops and bakeries nearby no contact in the bathroom, but extension cords and adapters are provided we had everything what we needed

the sofa collapses, but it was surprisingly comfortable to sleep (1 person, I don't know how it would be with 2)

Have everything you need in the house. Spacious. Did not meet the host but was very supportive with messages. Would back and stay again.

David was very clear with all the details from start to finish. His apartment was amazing!! It had everything we needed. It felt very homely and was near everything! It was close to the Playhouse, Alchemist and everywhere we wanted to go.

fabulous location, nicely decorated/appointed. bedroom queen bed super comfortable. bright enough despite being below street level. very responsive support staff, easy check in.

the sofa bed mattress was pretty bad, very thin. the bathroom was malodorous —needs plumbing work and ventilation fan.

A very pleasant, cozy, warm, charming apartment. Loved the antiquity style of the place and had the excellent experience of a local staying.
