CENTRAL Calton Hill What a view

La posizione favolosa proprio sotto Calton hill, comodissimo anche il parcheggio multipiano vicino sotto al centro commerciale. Fascino di una residenza storica. Il prezzo e’ alto per la qualità dell’alloggio

Un po’ sporco e trasandato. Le scale ripide sporche dove nn viene fatta manutenzione. Cucina sporca non utilizzata ( maniglie e dotazioni)

Fabulous location, lovely atmosphere - an interesting building.

The bedroom is open plan, which was not a problem for us, but the sofa bed in the lounge is all effectively in the same space - the only internal door being the bathroom.

Great location and views. The apartment was clean, with a well equipped kitchen. The sofa bed was easy to set up and both beds were very comfortable, good quality bedlinen and a spare duvet. The bathroom was nicely laid out, good shower, some reviews have mentioned problems with hot water, we did not, plenty of hot water for showers and baths.

The steps leading up to the house, the photo doesn’t really show how many there are to get into the property. The handrail is broken in one place. The entry is very dark. There are worn stone spiral stairs with a rope handrail up to the apartment, then another short flight on entry to it. None of this spoiled our stay, but it would be better if it were mentioned in tbe description as for seniors or people with heavy luggage it could be a problem

Location was perfect! Charming welcoming apartment w just about everything you need. Cozy space with plenty of room to spread out. Breakfast nook was perfect w a lovely view to start your day. Lots of windows for natural light. Just below lovely Calton Hill park.

The stairs are very steep. It was difficult to bring up and to take down luggage. No railing on the interior steep steps. Shower would be difficult if you are tall.

Świetna lokalizacja! Kilka minut spacerem od głównej stacji kolejowej i przystanków - w tym linii 100, jeżdżącej przez całą dobę z lotniska, za to z drugiej strony kilka minut spacerem i jesteśmy na wzgórzu z obłędnym widokiem. Mieszkanie jest niezwykle klimatyczne, przestronne i ma fantastyczne widoki z okien. Właściciel jest bardzo pomocny. Na miejscu jest pralka, dobrze działająca suszarka do włosów i adaptery do gniazdek. Dostaliśmy miłą słodką niespodziankę:). Jest czysto:). Wróciłbym tu, gdybym planowała jeszcze kiedyś pobyt w Edynburgu.

Zestaw kosmetyków składał się z mydełek dla wszystkich- mieliśmy swoje kosmetyki, więc nam to nie przeszkadzało, ale warto wiedzieć i zabrać swój szampon, bo na miejscu go nie ma. Sypialnia nie jest oddzielona drzwiami od reszty mieszkania - to taka praktyczna informacja dla rodziców z dziećmi, którym mógłby to przeszkadzać. Brakuje jakiejś szafy na ubrania, za to jest sporo wieszaków.

Great location in Edinburgh Town, Excellent communication with friendly host, Clean,tidy and Comfaiwith Amazing views across Edinburgh. Very highly recommended.
