The Park At Holyrood

The flat is very close to the centre, so everything was within walking distance. It’s furnished exactly as shown in the photos and, like old-school Airbnbs, even had a very well-equipped kitchen (spices were provided, there were sweets and even two bottles of water)

Early in the morning (from around 6 am), you could hear the delivery vans from the neighbouring hotel making deliveries.

Loved the accommodation, very clean with lovely decor. Had everything we needed.

Nothing to dislike

The decor was so cool.

The apartment has a wonderful vibrancy and character that made it feel like a real home away from home. The location is genuinely ideal — quiet and tucked away, yet just minutes from the Royal Mile, the Castle, and Edinburgh’s best attractions. Being able to step out into the heart of the city and return to a calm, comfortable retreat at the end of the day was exactly what we needed.

A few small changes could make a great stay even better. The pillows would benefit from an upgrade — good sleep makes all the difference! Swapping the bathroom towels for something more neutral in tone would give the space a fresher, more universal feel. The living room, while charming, has real potential to feel more spacious and comfortable with a little simplifying. But the intention of sharing this detail is to either add some greater comfort, or compliment the wonderful space that exists.

The location was perfect and the apartment had everything you could Possibly need.

That we weren’t staying longer. There was nothing we didn’t like.
