Harrogate Serviced Apartments - St George's Five

The property was grate clean and comfortable.

About 1 week after vacating the property the property manager called me accusing me of smoking in the property I never smoke a day in my life she even said she have evidence cigarettes butts I was very confused.

We loved the apartment, really well designed, well decorated and comfortable. The host had great communication and was very helpful especially around key pick up arrangements. The beds were super comfy, our girls (age 3 and 5) loved it and didnt want to leave their 'special room' with the butterfly paintings. The kitchen has everything you could need, the open plan living space is really nice, well thought out and the kitchen island in the middle with the bar stools just added an extra touch of luxury. The sofa was great for a cosy evening with comfy cushions and throws. There are big tvs in every bedroom and in living room, 3 toilets with bath and shower options of which the bath was very sleek and relaxing, and the heated floor in the shower room was a nice surprise too. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and oven with big fridge/freezer. The communal areas were well kept and clean too. There is also a designated parking space which is a great bonus for reassurance you will get a space but to be honest there was plenty of on street parking anyway. The location was great, easily walkable from town and the train station all within 20 minutes. Close to local park run as well which husband very much appreciated. The views from the apartment were great as you are 2nd floor and very peaceful of an evening too so no concerns about road noise etc. All in all would highly recommend if you are needing a base in harrogate, it was lovely. Im sure Ive used the word comfortable about 3x in my review - and it was!

If I had to give any negative it would be the shower (which we were advised about after booking so cant complain about transparency at all as the building is designed in such a way it has problems with drainage). This coupled with a high pressure waterfall shower and a shallow shower tray meant for quick showers. Minor irritation when you consider how nice everything else was so it would not affect our rating but mentioning since its asked. The beautiful bathroom with skylight and calming lighting options more than made up for this.

Nice, quiet location, 15 minute walk into Harrogate, other shops very close. Everything exactly as described, home from home

Lots of stairs. I don't mind, but some guests might.

Clean apartment, very well furnished and comfortable, loads of space for family of four; we really felt at home. Location is perfect for Harrogate town centre! My son says we should go back!

Investment in blackout blinds would really make it perfect, especially for summer stays. Almost all rooms have skylight windows, which is beautiful for day light. But really difficult at night without black out screens. A minor issue, that can hopefully be corrected!
