"One of the best cottages we have stayed in."

Excellent. Very well equipped, and everything in good nick. Spotlessly clean. The owners / hosts were 'on tap' but unobtrusive. Easy walk to the City centre. We'd stop there again without hesitation.....and we noticed in the Visitors Book that there were people who actually did return to the cottage.

The downside of being near the City centre, I guess, but the cottage is near a busy junction, though the road was quiet at night. Just something to be aware of.

"Nothing Fancy, but Very Comfortable"

The house was very spacious. We were coming by train and the host was very accommodating in meeting us at the property,. He not only handed over the keys, but showed us what we needed to know about the property. Bathroom was nice with a towel heater and plenty of space to set your belongings.

"A definite winner!"

It was welcoming and cosy. Had Everything and more that we needed. And Michelle and Ronnie provided a beautiful welcoming basket which was delicious and very appreciated.

Amazing property! We had a lovely stay. Great comfy beds, lovely outdoor space, nice living area and everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom

Nothing! 15 min walk to town was a nice river walk :)

"Awesome host, beautiful, well kept house"

The host Alia was super helpful and responsive. The property is well kept and Alia was just a call away if we needed anything.

You need to climb up a few flights of stairs to get to the house (though our room itself was on the ground floor). If you are on the first floor room then you need to climb further so please plan if you are traveling with big bags. Secondly there is a nice microwave and kettle but you can’t do any cooking as there is no kitchen here.

Very nice, old house renovated with respect to tradition. Well equipped kitchen, even some basic grocery was in (milk, coffee, tea). Walking distance to city center. Even though it was July, we appreciated much the heating 🙂.
