"stress free"

location was perfect. easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and tours.

washroom was on first floor but bedrooms were in second floor - minor inconvenience.

"Great property and hosts"

Really lovely property with everything we needed. Very cosy and homely. Location an easy walk from the centre and the bus/train station and well placed for walks down the river. Host Ronnie met us with the keys and was very helpful and friendly. We were sad to leave and hope to return.

"Lovely cosy cottage"

No. 10 is a cosy cottage fully equipped with everything you could need. Ronnie gave us a warm welcome on arrival and had left us a very generous welcome basket with goodies. The beds are very comfortable which is rare to find in a holiday home! The cottage is in a great location (it suited us perfectly being so close to family). There’s 3 small convenience stores, a bakery, a chippy, a pharmacy and a couple of other takeaways all within a minute or twos walk around the corner from the cottage. Highly recommend Spicy Spot for a takeaway if you enjoy Pizza or Kebabs. The centre of Inverness is only about 15-20 minutes away on foot as well. We’d happily stay again!

"One to remember and revisit when you can!"

Once in a while you stumble on a holiday home that feels like winning the lottery. This is one of those. Exceptionally kind owners who have prepared a warm welcome in the cutest small cottage. The owners have done a brilliant job on the renovation and everything you desire is at hand. Beautifully decorated with comfortable and quality furniture. It was an absolute delight staying here, or, as the kids shouted together: BEST HOLIDAY HOME EVER!!!

If we wouldn't have booked No.10 The Cottage, we probably would have never come to this side of Inverness. The neighbourhood is a very local one and I would say not the most pretty/pleasant. It did however not at all cause us any trouble and everything is still properly within walking distance. The upside of it: the best Fish&Chips place of Scotland (awarded!) is right around the corner :-)
