Breakfast was in the common area. A nice choice of Scottish/UK breakfast foods.

We enjoyed everything. We stayed a total of 10 days in Scotland and this was by far the best place we stayed. Excellent experience.

Beautiful new modern facilities were very nice. The owner was a delight. Large comfortable rooms and a brilliant shower which was easy to use.

Gravel was very hard to bring wheeled suitcases.

Absolutely beautiful property. The one bedroom apartment we had was very nice and comfortable. We were greeted as we arrived and catered to during our stay. If you want to be out of the city center, this is a perfect location.

The location is about 25 minutes away from the city center so not as easy access as you might like. The room we had has windows open to the golf course and sits close to hole. While nice, it meant golfers were able to see in our room if we had the windows and curtains open. We did run out of hot water one evening and had to wait for it to refill.

this is such a beautiful property, we were made to feel so so welcome and the standard of the interior, furniture and amenities were excellent and the apartment is tastefully decorated. we stayed in the green room which was self catering and it had everything we could ever need, it really felt like home from home.

that we can’t live there!!

The hosts have put a commendable amount of thought, care and effort into every little detail for their guests. That's rare nowadays.

There's only one thing I didn't like: I didn't like handing back the keys! The place is incredible. I couldn't believe how close I was to *everything* but how completely "away-from-it-all" it felt. The fact that it's located on an exclusive, old-school, members-only golf course and bordered by farmland and an historic Scottish canal keeps the outside world decidedly at bay. The peace and quiet is amazing. That and the castle-like construction enclosing impeccably tasteful interiors with all modern conveniences made me feel I could happily live here forever! It was more than a home from home.
