Beautiful City Centre Apartment - Holyrood Park

Great facilities, first laundry facilities in two weeks of travelling.

Good location. Fairly quiet but central

Surroundings and hallway scruffy and a bit smelly. Apartment quite bare. Sink in bathroom too small to use to clean teeth. Parking 1/2mile away. Key box not identified- there are 4 to choose from. Apartment looked in on by other buildings. A bit noisy at night from passers by.

Good size apartment. Good facilities. Clean. Was able to contact owner easily as I had trouble working out which lockbox it was as there were 4 there.

Would've neen nice to know there were a lot of stairs to go up as on 2nd floor and no lift.

The apartment was nice and cozy. For a solo traveler it met all my needs. I love the kitchen as it had everything a guest would need. The living room and bedroom was small but very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and updated. This was a really comfortable and lovely apartment. I enjoyed it and wished I stayed another day longer.

I had a bit of a difficult time retrieving the key from the safety box. Maybe user error but it was frustrating. I had to get assistance to help me. I also got locked inside the apt as there is a small knob on the inside apparently I accidentally locked and was unaware. I had to contact the host to show me how to get out. The inside of the building is very run down and not impressive. They should clean it up.

Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, beautifully furnished and kitted out kitchen, bed linen and towels smelled fresh and clean. Free on street parking at the weekends (after 5.30pm on Fridays through to 8.30am Monday morning.) Fabulous location close to Holyrood park and palace, easy walk into Edinburgh or Arthur's seat. Great friendly communication from the hosts. Quick note the key lock is the second one down from the top!

Accommodation wise the bathroom is extremely narrow hence the super small bathroom sink, but it has a lovely warm strong shower and is clean. Beyond the owner's control unfortunately one of next door neighbours was shouting very loudly through the night and well into early hours. The lobby is tatty and grubby, but it's a communal area.

Close to everything and so neat clean and well equipped. And tasteful decor. We were very comfortable.
