Casa Mogador

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Mogador. Our host, Boubakr was helpful, friendly and attentive. He speaks excellent English so that made it easy for us. He provided helpful and useful information about Essaouira. The location was convenient, close enough to walk to the Medina and the beach. There are cafes and bakeries close by which was handy. Parking was available next to the apartment. This made our stay easier than most of the places we stayed in Morocco. I highly recommend Casa Mogador.

Casa Mogador is an incredible place, I already can’t wait to return as soon as I can. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, the roof terrace is a heavenly place to relax and practice yoga, the neighborhood is lovely, safe, and close to everything, the price is very reasonable, and the shining star of the whole experience was the host Boubakr, who was full of good tips and went out of his way to help with anything needed. Honestly, I travel extremely often (this time I was solo) and this apartment is one of the very best, a real gem.

Our host organised a taxi from the airport to the accomodation for us. He was waiting on our arrival with the keys. The apartment was very clean. Lots of hot water, clean towels and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Our host spoke great English and was so helpful with any questions that arose during our stay. Via what’s app he helped us with recommendations. He was happy to print our return boarding passes ( something we didn’t realise Essaouira airport demand you have printed boarding passes for your departure. The airport does not have the digital QR scanners installed yet) our host brought us a delicious tagine as a token of great hospitality. The neighbourhood was close to food shops, cafes, the beach and about 20 min walk along the beach to the Medina in the old city . Or just an 80p taxi cost one way.

Spotless apartment. Very, very friendly host. The calm and peace of the location. All what you needed for food, coffee, transportation is local and at a shorth walking distance.

The hospitality and the availability of the host were impeccable. Clean and comfy bed. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home, like soap, spices, kuttlery, plates...

Wifi was not super fast, but we managed our calls via hotspot from our phones.

Spotlessly clean throughout apartment , cotton white sheets in airy bedrooms, and functional kitchen and bathroom plus access to sun roof. Great hosts, attentive and generous with free home cooked food offerings.

Location isn’t quite beach front, it’s a short 10 minute walk. The local area well makes up for this. Clean and calm neighbourhood with French and Morocco cafes on door step. Plus a great French patisserie to the other side of apartment. Breads and fresh cream cakes! Plus you’ll save on eating out prices here. A 25 minute walk to midina along a beautiful beachfront walk. At night time took taxi home (8 dirams) best to say your looking to go to CMT bus station which is just round the corner- to help cab find apartment.

Boukbar was a wonderful host. He couldn't have done more for us. Highly recommend. The apartment had everything we needed. The roof terrace was lovely to sit out of an evening. Lots of little local shops and restaurants to choose from.

The apartment is perfectly located. 10 minutes walk to the beach, from the beach 10 minutes to the Medina. Lots of local shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. Carrefour is also nearby. The apartment is very clean, fragrant, functional with a beautiful terrace. The owner Boubakr is a wonderful host. This was my third stay in Morocco and the first time I experienced such hospitality. Boubakr showed me around As Sawira, twice gave me Moroccan soup and delicious couscous. He always asked if I needed anything. Thank you Boubkar for this lovely stay. I hope to come back here again.

The property exceeded all my expectations, very clean, quiet and comfortable. The host was generous with homy moroccan food, would definitely recommand it!

Everything, particularly sunny roof terrace. Charming host Boubakr prepares couscous for you. Peaceful. 5 min cab ride to beach and medina costs 7 dirhams, cabs plentiful.
