A quiet and comfortable room within walking distance of a decent pub. Good breakfast choices, friendly staff and an ideal base for touring the local area as close to the main roads.

The location

The rooms were very basic and not as clean as the could be .

The location was perfect for where we wanted to go. Lovely having bedroom and sitting room with fridge and so spacious. Bed was comfy and nice size TV in each room. Clean bathroom with nice bath & easy to use shower. We would come back.

Evening meal was fine, staff were friendly and welcoming, location was great for exploring kent

Cleanliness of room cobwebs and spiders in corners of lounge. Windosill in lounge not cleaned for a long time. Room was not made up on second night of our stay. Sofa was in need of replacing no padding in cushions

Bar and restaurant was good prices for hotel

Would have been a wonderful venue I expect before covid tennis courts over grown spa derelict bit run down which is a shame

Nice to be in a chalet instead of a room off a noisy corridor. Bedding was clean. Restaurant was nice and the food good. Fridge in the room was very useful.

Decor was a bit tired like most of the old hotels, the bathroom door got stuck and needed cleaning along with the fridge. It could have done with one internal door on the bedroom or end of entrance hall.
