An Outdoor Enthusiasts Piece of Heaven

The place has everything, incredible views, loch access, the facilities are superb with a hot tub, sauna, bbq hut and games room/bar are brilliant. Uisdean and Karen were great and the welcome pack and added extras that we arrived to were amazing. Couldn't ask for much more. I'd recommend staying here to anyone and we'll make sure to re book in the future. I'd recommend the pizza dough and bbq pack's if you're staying, the food was great!

Everything within the apartment was well thought of, and well organised. We have stayed in many self catering accommodations, and none have compared to this stay. Small touches such as sleep kits, cotton buds, kitchen spices to a full breakfast bar for continental as well as the welcome pack. Hosts were amazing and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend the home made dough, to make pizza's in the bbq hut, we will definitely be back! Thank you for everything you both did during our stay with yourselves

Absolutely nothing to dislike

The keys were easy to pick up as they were left in an accessible place. The breakfast pack was good and the afternoon tea was brilliant. The extras you can buy were great too. The bbq pack and the pizza dough are a great addition to purchase as it's something different to do as you cook these in the bvq hut, which is quaint and quirky. The hit tub is great and the new addition of the sauna again is a lovely quirky touch. The hosts are superb and are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I will definitely be back as it's great value for money and a superb location for peace and tranquillity.

There wasn't much that we didn't like. I suppose the only thing was that the hit tub, sauna, games room, and bbq hut are not directly next to the holiday apartment. You have to walk past the main family house to get to them. This felt a little uncomfortable, but that was my issue. I'm sure most people wouldn't have an issue with it.

So well stocked and catered for, very high level of hosting.

Nothing to note

The location was great and scenery was lovely. Very private, despite the owner living in the house on the same property, we were given plenty of space and welcomed upon arrival. When we arrived we were pleased with the sandwiches and other finger foods which were provided. The owners knew it was my birthday and had put up a ‘Happy Birthday’ banner which was a nice touch from them. There was a good selection of movies and TV to watch and the surrounding areas were full of places to explore. Lots of information inside the home regarding surroundings and things to do. Outdoor area was comfortable and is a great place to chill out.

Everything!! This place is a real gem of a find. Karen and Uisdean have literally thought of everything you could possibly need. The apartment itself is very cute and has everything you need and more, even the addition of a welcome breakfast pack which wasn't expected. A lovely afternoon tea waiting for us on arrival was a real treat. We even had little goodies waiting on our beds. It really was perfect. The hot tub, sauna and hobbit house are wonderful additions and the games room with extremely well stocked honestly bar was wonderful! We were very sad to leave but we will definitely return, a lovely warm Highland welcome awaits you and you really do feel at home here. Location is perfect as well to use as a base to explore the Highlands in all directions. Thanks again Karen and Uisdean.
