The Garden Flat

Flat was lovely, spacious and well equipped and the owner went above and beyond in being accommodating. Great location on Kings road which has shops, a bar and multiple restaurants and is only a 10 minute walk, short bus ride into town. Any slight issue was sorted immediately. Would 100% recommend for a stay in Harrogate.

The flat was well situated short walking distance to city centre. We had a whale of a time and I can’t say how much we appreciated the effort to make us a Christmassy welcome with welcome pack gifts including a chocolate advent calendar and Christmas decorations round the flat. The beds were comfortable and all in all it was great.

The neighbours perhaps didn’t realise how much the noise transmits.

All the comforts of home, everything you need was there. Comfy beds, well laid out kitchen, warm and cosy apartment. Close to local restaurants and within walking distance of town.

The heating

Kerb appeal. Hedging needs attention.

A great central location, and super easy access to a Sainsbury's Local for all essentials. A great selection of food and Cafes right across the road from the front door. The flat is all one floor and on the ground level, so no staircase to deal with. A very nice thing that wasn't mentioned much was the lockable garage at the back of the property. This is a small garage, but it could fit my Ford Fiesta Mk V easily. The peace of mind of having your car safe (and out of the sun on hot mornings) is great when you are away from home.

The property only had minor things that could be improved. For example, the main bin outside the front is a little tricky to pull out and empty, and we were also not too sure which of the black bins were for our flat. Another small things is likely out of the owner's control, but the other residents in the upstairs flat were not light on their feet, and occassionally did some shouting that was easily heard. Most of the time this occurred in the late evening when we had gone to bed.

Location. Great for walking into Harrogate. Welcome hamper was lovely. Just what we needed after a long journey.

Had to buy our own toilet roll and hand wash for bathroom.

Very thoughtful hosts. Warm and welcoming. Good location. Easy parking.

Nothing really.

The flat was furnished with excellent taste and it was very cosy. It was nice to have bread, butter and milk waiting for you in the fridge, although breakfast was not included. The best thing was to get a ride to the railway station, as I could not get a taxi and it was raining.

There was nothing I did not like.
