Harrogate Central 2 bedroom apt Alpha Spa

Good

Great location near shops and restaurants etc. Flat was clean and comfortable with all you need for a home from home. Very comfy beds, tastefully decorated and good instructions for easy access. Great to have Netflix available and good WiFi. Nice and warm with easy to use thermostat.

There was a very loud rumbling noise the other side of the smaller bedroom wall that went on and off all night, the other reviews did state this but i hadnt read them properly and I was shocked at quite how loud this noise was all night. I played some rain sounds on my mini travel speaker all night to try and drown it out which helped. There were also people talking outside throughout the night and early hours (poor soundproofing & inconsiderate people) and very drafty bedroom windows in the smaller bedroom too so needed to place towels and cushions in front to block the cold drafts. There was also a smell in the apartment that I couldn't put my finger on because the place was very clean, so maybe from downstairs.

Central location.. ample room for 4.. easy access to get in. Lots of information provided including recommendations for restaurants. Round the corner to Nomad restaurant for great breakfast. Great value

Can't fault.. Everyone would be happy to stay again so would recommend

The apartment and facilities were fine.

We were all woken numerous times each night by shouting and banging coming from below. There is a pizza shop under the property. We all had to go and purchase earplugs which helped a bit but we were still woken all through the night every night.

Ideal location for the convention centre, train station and town centre - nothing we needed was more than a 10 minute walk away. The apartment was an ideal size for 3 guests, very clean and modern, with spacious rooms and relaxing atmosphere.

Unfortunately the bedrooms backed onto an alley which was busy with use during the night, it overlooks a takeaway restaurant and the bins are collected often in the early morning - the soundproofing in these rooms is not the best and a light sleeper may struggle with the noise coming from outside.

A great apartment - very comfy. Loved the spacy living room. Good location close to the city centre.

Nice bedrooms with lots of space. One had a rather noisy ventilator shaft (or something like it) on the other side of the wall though, from a downstairs pizza parlor, that was on ´til quite late. Had to use earplugs for sleep.

Location was excellent. So handy for the daily bus to the Show from the Bus Station. Walking distance for restaurants. Long Stay Parking was just a 5 minute walk away.

Could be noisy some nights. If you are a light sleeper this may pose as a problem. Downside of being so central.

Property was in the middle of town, so good location.

Two takeaways nearby so noisy late at night. Also people searching in bins at night at the back of the apartment. Overall a horrible nights sleep.
