Lovely quiet location, clean and comfy modern apartment - exceptional property

Finding the actual property and keys was quite difficult. It required us to read a lengthy page of instructions and when this didn’t seem to make sense to us, the host became irritated when we phoned and asked for help. I called to inquire for assistance and he was busy and wifi was inconsistent so communication was very frustrating. Also we did call to ask about locking the property as we were unfamiliar with the locking mechanism but the host was also frustrated. Apparently ‘every lock in the UK worked like this’ but not once did we encounter this in our 11 other stays on this trip ! I have used too many facilities to count in the past, and while this experience provided us with a beautiful property for our stay after a very long days driving, the hosts patience and assistance may have meant I could have rated this property 10/10 overall. Footnote: stripping beds and organising all laundry items into laundry bags was a first - never asked to do this previously.

Modern, spacious apartment, quiet and relaxing. Excellent bathroom, with great pressure and hot water! Handy to Culloden and Inverness.

Had issues getting washing dry with the washer/dryer. Separate dryer would work much better. Pillows were very thin. Also, we’re asked to strip sheets, doonas, towels and bag them up!! Never been asked to do this before!!!

Beautiful flat in a new planned city. Close to Clava Carin and the battlefield. Not far from the airport and Inverness. Shops and a wonderful cafe just around the corner for breakfast. Tastefully decorated and comfy beds. Great place to spend a few days to explore the city and countryside.

Nothing it was great. The owner has left all the manuals for appliances. The washer dryer combo was a bit of a learning challenge but we figured it out and appreciated the ability to do laundry.

Property & Access ​Space: The accommodation offered a spacious interior layout. ​Check-in: Entry to the property was straightforward thanks to the clear instructions provided. ​Location & Atmosphere ​Setting: The village is situated in a remote area, distanced from local amenities and hubs. Apart from one shop to buy supplies. ​Environment: The neighborhood is exceptionally quiet, with a noticeable lack of foot traffic or activity after 4:00 PM. ​Development: The area currently feels isolated, though it may become more vibrant as the surrounding housing projects are completed.

Room Condition & Cleanliness ​Hygiene Issues: Significant staining found on the mattress of the double room after removing the linens. ​Kitchenware: Several cups were left out on the counter by us, because they were found stored dirty in the cupboards upon arrival. ​Lack of Amenities ​Essential Supplies: Failure to provide basic necessities such as milk or toiletries (shampoo). ​Environmental Factors ​Light Pollution: Inadequate window blinds allowed significant street lighting to enter the bedroom at night. ​Noise Disturbances: Early morning construction activity from nearby housing developments, including heavy vehicle and worker noise. ​Waste Management ​Recycling Limitations: Only one bin was provided in the kitchen, making it impossible to separate and process recycling properly.
