CAWe spent 3 lovely nights at El Yaguacil. Victor was very welcoming and provided us with plenty of recommendations for visiting. The place itself is clean and furnished with the basics for a few days, especially if you do not want to go out for dinner (Netflix is also available on the TV). The hotel is very peaceful (really offer the possibility to disconnect) and well located (a few minutes drive from city center). Whether it's inside or outside, at breakfast with a cup of coffee or evening with a glass of wine, we enjoyed very much this place!
The bathroom could benefit from a small makeover (e.g. the shower wasn't draining properly)
USIf you are looking for a peaceful place to stay or explore, this is your place. The host was very helpful and gives you great guidance for things to do around the hotel.
It's is useful to have a car to move around. Taxis are not my thing. I prefer Uber and there is very little Uber service around

No hot water in the shower
NLThis is an amazing apartment with your own little private jungle right next to it. We really enjoyed the calm and peaceful environment of Jarabacoa, and this reflected itself on this apartment. The host only spoke Spanish but really did his best to be helpful and gave us all the information required for our stay there. We received a complete list of activities via WhatsApp. The room itself was clean and all the facilities mentioned were available.
Nothing really, however just a small tip. Bring a musquito net and some repellent
