Belgrade centrum

This was our first hotel night in Serbia. We have arrived at night, but the google maps helped me to find the building easily. At first, the outlook was not so trust-inspiring, the building is really old, the plastering was missing from the outer walls. We reached our host through phone, and he showed up in a few minutes. He is a very kind guy and helped us in the entire time, from finding a parking place nearby, and even bought the maximum parking fare for our license number. If you are not familiar with the Serbian rules for parking like we were, this can be source of problems. The room itself is fully renovated, so our initial worried thoughts were faded away. The apartment is really spacious, equipped with all the necessities. We are a family of 5, and this place was big enough for our needs. The apartment was clean, and located in a really good place, close to the downtown, restaurants. Once again we would like to say thanks for the owner for his hospitality, his advices were helpful and we couldn't even arrange to pay for parking without him. The price/value ratio is exceptionally good!

Once again, the main building is really old, from the outside it might scare one away, but the apartment itself is quite the opposite. Parking can be a nightmare, as it's obvious that there are more cars than free parking places, but that's getting more and more common in general. But it'd be really handy if the apartment would have a dedicated parking place. At night I met with 2 or 3 small bugs in the bathroom, but the window were open.

Apartment is big. Location is very nice. There are shops and grocery stores near. Beds are comfortable, bathroom & kitchen is large. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen and even a drier in bathroom! There is a storage room as well which is good to keep iron, vacum cleaner. Internet speed is high. The owner was very very very nice, helped a lot and even vistited the post office to pick the parcel sent for me.

It was hot as it is summer and there was only 1 AC. It would be great to have fans in other rooms as there is no air current in bedrooms. Kitchen amenities were missing as spatula, small bowls. There are no mirrors at all. There is no wardrobe for shoes in entrance, or something to put keys or sunglasses on. There is only one closet for clothes, and half of it is filled with bedsheets and blankets to use. We were 2 adults and 1 kid. I could not use it as with few clothes, it was almost full. I was using my luggage as a wardrobe. Electric plugs were few, it would be great to add more or have extensions. Some windows had the nets for bugs, some did not. Since it was hot and I cannot sleep without fresh air, we were using curtains as nets, which was not that effective. I think it should not be a great effort to add some nets.

Nice host, quiet place in historical building. Drying machine, huge dish wash, a lot of nice towels available. Good size of apartments. Mall with very testy food in 2 steps

Not disadvantage, but speciality - building and apartment are quite old.

Tranquil location, an oasis in the city. Lots of space and very comfy beds.

Shutters or better curtains needed in the bedrooms.
