Craiglockhart Lodge

We love the welcome from our charming host, the welcome chocolates on our pillows and the coffee,milk, sugar, spices , bread that the hostess left us. It was very considerate of them.

We battled with the shower hot water system.

The accommodation was very comfortable. Beds were comfy and the lodge had all the facilities we needed, including some jigsaws and games that the boys loved! The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the host was very friendly and provided us with some information about travel and tourist spots when we arrived. The bus stop outside the door was very convenient!!

The lodge was stunning, plenty of space. The location was quiet but close to all main attractions.

The only thing is the stairs going in could do with a hand rail as they were slippy with the rain.

The lodge was so cosy and Lorna was so welcoming. The photos on the sìte didn't do it justice

Lorna was a fantastic host - friendly and helpful. The lodge had absolutely everything you need and the location was ideal - super quick into the city centre yet quiet and peaceful. We hope to stay again. Thank you so much

Trying to follow the instruction manuals for cooker and hot plate ( because I am Not great at reading instructions! ) maybe a wee step By step instruction sheet would be best
