Ramsay Gardens - Grand 4-Bedroom Apartment Next To Castle

Amazing location! Close the Castle & Royal Mile. Spacious room, great for group bookings

It is seldom that a property lives up to the photographs. In this case, the apartment exceeded expectation's. Beautifully furnished, and the perfect location for the castle, other tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. I could have stayed much longer!

You would be hard pushed to find a problem.

Loved the size of this apartment our first impression was wow. The views are amazing from the living room and 2 of the bedrooms looking out to Christmas markets. The bedrooms were very spacious too which helped with 8 ladies getting ready to go out. The apartment was dressed for Christmas too which was a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped for us to stay in on the Friday evening and cook (could do with 8 wine glasses tho there wasn’t enough for us all) Stuart was very informative before our stay which was very useful for our stay and he let me know when the apartment was ready as we got in very early on check in day (there’s a great luggage store in town which we used on the Friday and Sunday) . I would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

One of the living room windows could do with some Maintenance as it was very windy out and it wouldn’t completely shut. Some of the accessories could do with replacing like the toilet roll holder in the bathroom (rusty) and scatter cushions in living room and on bed! Either stained or ripped. The Bin in kitchen was a bit temper mental too. There was also a ripped chair in the snug which could’ve done with being removed. These are minor and didn’t affect our stay but worth mentioning. We did have a leak under the bath which wasn’t too much of a problem with a mat placed underneath but i informed the owners on leaving.

Loved everything. Location was amazing. House was a lot bigger than expected. All very comfortable.

Unfortunately the shower could not be regulated. Water was scalding. It looks like this has been a previous issue. It is very unfortunate as only a bath could be used and that does not suit older people in group. A few rooms had flickering lights and the runner rug made two of us trip as its is not flat. Small things I’m sure can and will be sorted.

Location and large property was great, so near the Royal Mile, and Edinburgh Castle, cafes, bars etc. amazing views from Old Town to the New Town! Would highly recommend this property.

Not a biggie, however the shower over the bath in the Main bathroom didnt have a curtain or a holder for the hand shower. We only used the 2nd bathroom as we didn’t want to spill water around.
