Water Walk Apartment

Very comfortable, spacious apartment.

Chairs not comfort for a person with a back problem. With the long summer days & early sunrises proper blockout curtains would have improved the experience. But overall a fabulous apartment.

Perfect location, beautiful apartment very very comfortable & fully equipped. Very nicely decorated/styled. My contact Pat was extremely helpful & replied quickly to any questions we had.

Lacked some storage drawers in bedrooms & mirrors plus a shower caddy/storage. Even though mattress had a protector pillows did not. Grill pan in oven was quite dirty.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was modern, very roomy, and had tons of space to spread out, especially after crowding my travel partner the entire part of the earlier trip. The building was nice, secure, and in a cute little residential area. The 11 bus has 2 bus stops right down the street from the apartment and the tram dropped off a couple blocks down the street if you didn't mind walking a little. The water pressure in the bathrooms were heavenly and I felt truly clean for the first time since leaving. This was also the first affordable listing that didn't cancel on us or charge us ridiculous pricing as we went for the Taylor Swift concert, so we also really appreciated that.

Very little cons. Our only real complaint is that the shades in the bedroom do not provide much light filtration. The sun rose around 4:30am while we were there and the light was certain to wake us up as it came out. I think an option for darker shades would be very appreciated. Also, we did not realize that you had to pay extra for the linens for the couch, so we did not pre-reserve that. We ended up opting to not use the couch and sucked it up to share a bed for the one night our friends came to visit.

Excellent condition

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean and as described. Hosts were very helpful prior to visit, and entry was simple thanks to their clear instructions. Plenty of room in the flat for the 4 of us, did not feel cramped. Location wise approx 10 minute walk from Balfour Street tram, and approx 15 mins walk along waterway to restaurants / bars in the Shore area. Very close to Biscuit Factory where our event was so that was a huge plus. Would definitely use again on further trips to Edinburgh.

Wanted the sofa bed linen left so we could use it as a bed but was quoted £90 which seemed massively excessive - surely this should be included in original booking and not an additional cost. Stay would have been 10/10 otherwise!

Easy access for parking, with lovely setting by river, clean, modern, response staff with thoughtful support.

Beds were a bit narrow…there is room for a Queen-sized if smaller side tables are used. Comfortable mattresses but easy to roll off. It would also help to have instructions about the kitchen rads, and have a recycling bin.

The property was so spacious,clean and the beds so comfy and the little porch bit outside by the water was beautiful. Great location for walks and get in and out of Edinburgh. We will 100% be booking again.

The shower in main bathroom the water pressure could do with being a bit stronger but other than that everything was perfect x
