Blair St Burns apt Old Town

Location was perfect and host was responsive and acted promptly when asked to resolve a problem.

Showers and plumbing in general are pretty poor, no water pressure and flush takes ages to fill up.

Location location location… also it was a very cosy apartment. Apartment was well equipped with all necessities, we ate mostly out or bought take away but should one wants to prepare food at home there were all necessary pans, pots etc. Sugar, tea and coffee was available also. We had a bit of an issue with electricity and heating the evening we arrived which was quickly dealt with in the morning once we contacted the office and no issues anymore. Great bakery up the road with mouthwatering pies. On the weekend the street could get quite rowdy however bedrooms face inner yard so very quiet and we slept great … overall we had a great stay at a great central location.

If I am to be very picky I would say the internet was not the greatest

The location just off the Royal Mile was great for the Old Town, castle and lots of places to eat and drink. The block was secure and the basement flat was quiet. The Christmas decorations were a nice touch for our December visit.

All accommodation in Edinburgh is pricey - you don't get much for your money in this part of town. Facilities are basic & functional despite the price tag. It won't linger long in the memory as a lovely place to stay but certainly did the job - biggest tick for us was the location - and comfy beds.

The location was amazing. So close to everything yet also quiet. Also felt very safe even on my own with 2 kids.

Furniture was a little tired

Complete amenities. Easy to get in touch with and very responsive. Great location.

If there is anything to improve on, it would be to account the available toiletries for the adults staying and provide more bin liners according to how many days of stay.

Such a great location just off the royal mile and close to lots of bars restaurants and attractions. The apartment itself is clean and bright with everything you could need, tea coffee and sugar on arrival, and milk available just round the corner on South Bridge street. We were met personally and shown around which was lovely, access is via a very short flight of steps and two security doors so you feel very safe and secure. We definitely hope to be back when next we visit Edinburgh. Thank you to everyone who made the flat such a pleasant place to stay.

The central location made it easy to walk everywhere. Despite being close to the noisy areas, it was super quiet in the house. They had a fully functional kitchen stocked with basic cutlery and cooking vessels. The heating and all other appliances worked well.

If there are more than two people living here they would have to share just one washroom but that’s not a big issue if you manage well.
