Hooton Apartment 1 bed

Found it very good. The only thing was had to buy some batteries for the remote control 4 the TV. But if that's the only fault what can I say folks...

It was quirky and spacious

The shower dribbled water and when you have thick hair it takes ages to wash.

Quiet location, even though next to a school and on a road it felt quiet. Nice to have own kitchen etc. Good base and value for what we needed. Good to have smart tv. Spacious.

The floor is very uneven, I think because it's an old property. Just to bare in mind if any mobility issues. I would recommend hooks for towels by the shower. The shower set up is a bit strange as up some steep steps in bedroom but understand likely due to logistics of building and wasn't a problem, but just to bare in mind if have mobility issues although there is a rail. The shower wasn't particularly powerful. I would prefer better curtains in the bedroom (blackout). The kitchen items were a bit mismatched in terms of crockery and only 4 forks and no kitchen sponge (let the owners know). There were some stains on the curtains by the front door.

It was quite a large apartment, so good for getting ready in etc.

The apartment was dated & badly decorated. The shower cube was in the bedroom and strange carpets covered steps and subsided floors that made you feel like you were in a fairground funhouse. Generally just a really odd place to stay. The village itself was quite rough & even the taxi driver warned us to keep the doors locked.
