What an amazing place to stay! Excellent location, stunning views, very comfortable and spacious apartment with a full kitchen, with everything you need in it.

The fact that there are no daily cleaning services. For that amount cleaning services should be a part of the package

The view and pool and everything was there that i needed, and Peter allowing me to stay a bit longer after the check out time.I will be coming back next year again.

Breakfast n/a. Location was great, Very spacious fully equipped accommodation. Great view from small but adequate wind-shielded balcony..

Too many steps. Not good for elderly / walking-impaired persons -especially with luggage. Not much can do about steps but assistance on arrival & departure would be great.

there are some steep steps but we were aware before we arrived so not a issue for us . any issue we had (which were tiny issues) were dealt with quickly.

The view is spectacular and there is easy beach access by foot or road. The property has everything you could need for a comfortable long term or short term stay.

The stairs leading down to the property from the road are steep, which could cause a problem for less mobile guests.

The best view in town!!! Peter is an excellent host who responds quickly to any queries. We stayed at his place for 10 nights. Everything that you need to make your stay comfortable is catered for. The beach is a short walk away and we enjoyed the communal pool. Restaurants and shops are nearby. The instructional manual left in the place will answer all your questions so make sure you have a read through. There are steps leading to the main house, which we did not mind at all. Our car was parked in a secure parking bay, provided by the owner. The area is very safe and trust me...you wouldn't want to leave the house when you have the best view of False Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed afternoon hikes up Elsies Peak, which is a short stroll away. Lots to do in the area with some tourist attractions nearby. We highly recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxing getaway 🙂

Loadshedding, but the gas stove was a plus so not a major inconvenience.

The view from Above the Sea is exceptional. The facilities are modest and neat and just perfect for a small group.

The property needs a little bit of an update, but this did not detract from our stay at all
