Great location - in the main pedestrian mall, close to everything, including the train to the Cinque Terre and the bus to Portovenere. Massimo was friendly and helpful. Good security.

No parking to drop off the suitcases. Might be ok if you came by train. Little parking around and lots of stairs. Wifi was intermittent at best so we had to hotspot off our phones. Smart TV couldn't connect to the internet.

The apartment is right in the centre of the lively part of La Spezia, with many restaurants very close. The location is perfect for the villages of Cinque Terre, and also for the seaside towns of Portovenere and Lerici. We had excellent swimming (and good snorkelling) every day, and you only need to use bus or train. We were very impressed .... La Spezia is a perfect place for a summertime holiday. In addition, Massimo helped us with repairing our car headlight!!

Driving in La Spezia is not easy, and parking is difficult. It's better as a centre using public transport. However, with the help of Massimo we managed to get close enough to the apartment to load and unload luggage.

A short 10-15 minute walk from La Spezia Central station. Apartment is central and in the middle of the main shopping and dining street, 10 minute walk down to pier. Plenty of shops and eateries. Note, there is no elevator and you will need to walk up 3 flights of stairs. Well stocked kitchen for personalized meal preps. Maximum is a great host, responsive to our needs and very helpful in sharing his knowledge of best ways to travel. For us it was Cinque Terre. Google translate help facilitate our conversation.
