Spiders, linen had stains, TV wasn't working, windy n couldn't open a window or door

.we were aloud to drop off our cold foods before the formal check in time.

We as a family were quite disappointed in the units. The curtains and bedding have holes. The toilet doesn't flush without opening the back cover. The door to 1 room could only close if you locked it. The 1 bedroom light did not work at all. The toilet roll holder was broken. The cutlery was so messy eg 1 spoon but 5 forks. Overall the units need serious TLC. My daughter couldn't play on the thorn infested grass. My husband had to turn the hot water temperature down as it was set to 70 and burnt my mom so bad I had to apply burn shield. Wifi didn't work in our unit. A little goes a long way. If a little more attention was given to the units we as a family of 15 would be back for Easter

It is conveniently situated and affordable. They tried with the rustic look. A pleasant surprise was the two additional single beds in each of the living rooms. The tennis court was another nice addition to the experience.

Everything was of poor quality. Luckily we had our own loo paper and handwash, dishwashing liquid as that which was supplied by the host, just made it as entry level. In the Booking.com description, there was mention of a coffee machine. That was not the case. There were very basic coffee sachets. Again, we fortunately packed our own coffee. We had to ask for tea bags and only got Rooibos. No longlife milk. Powdered, non-dairy substitutes were supplied. The bedding was of such poor quality. The one fleeze blanket had a hole in. The one curtain was torn. No towels supplied. I can't remember that it was communicated beforehand or part of the property description. Quite incidentally we bought towels on our way to Langebaan otherwise, it would have been really inconvenient. The liquids that were offered for dishwashing and handwash were really the equivalent of colour-added, diluted slime. The housekeeper waived a hallo which was welcome. The hostess should, when including such services in the household duties, offer the necessary finishing touches to the housekeeping staff as she is obviously not available to meet and greet guests. Since we booked two units, it would have been a great value add to have adjacent units for one unit. The inconvenience of a trek across the ant infested lawn wasn't ideal. The garden needs serious attention. Indigenous plants grow easily and would make the property much more appealing. The fake plants in the units are off putting. It's not of a good quality and really does nothing to promote the place. Same goes for the prints against the walls. It breaks down the rustic look attempt and gives a very kitch appearance. No storage space for clothes, luggage in unit 3 A few plastic hangers were hanging there. Even hooks on the walls would have been a better option. The shower....the drain was mildly blocked, a trickle of water flowed, the door was fitted back to front or the other way around.

The place was exactly has advertised, it was neat, clean and quite spacious

Despite the place being ideal through imagine, the place was infested with bugs, especially spiders. There was a bad spider infestation. There were mice running around the kitchen cupboards and because of this I didn’t feel fully comfortable during my stay. I strongly advise the owners to do something about the pests in the home and it is really not ideal for a holiday stay.
