Delightful, central 3 bedroom house with garden & free parking

Bery comfortable, beds, couches everything good quality. There was space and it was well equipped.

Ideally there would be one more bathroom for three bedrooms but it is not a huge issue.

NOTHING. STAY AWAY! THIS IS A SCAM!

DO NOT BOOK HERE!! THIS IS A SCAM! We had zero communication with the house owner throughout the entire booking process. I tried to contact him two days before our booking and no one answered. I called multiple times more and eventually a person picked up who did not seem to know anything about the booking. He hung up mid conversation after taking my name. I then called the Booking.com helpline for assistance and they were USELESS!! I was on the line for over an hour. After talking to the customer service, we went round in circles. Booking.com said they had the money and needed permission for the accommodation to refund me. I made it clear that the accommodation owner will either not reply to them or will tell them what they want to hear. As Booking.com still had my money and it's obviously a scam booking, I don't know why the scammer had to be involved. After getting nowhere with the helpline, I checked the accommodation profile again and new reviews of similar experiences were in the page. These were not on when we booked. The photos of the accommodation were different to what we booked as well. The man called me up again. I told him I wanted him to approve my cancellation but he said he would get in trouble if he did (odd thing to say as an accommodation owner). He then told me that the place had been trashed by the last customers but that it would be fixed by the time we arrived. When I made it clear that would not be acceptable, he magically told me that the place was somehow fully fixed. When that was not accepted, he hung up & did not answer again. We are now going through the bank to block the payment. I am considering legal action against this accommodation and Booking.com.

This is a treasure! Plenty of space for all. The table was dressed impeccably for the four of us. Supplies in the fridge, milk, bacon and some light adult beverages. A basket of biscuits and crisps on the counter. Tea/coffee/sugar. That was certainly a lovely welcome. Plenty of books if you have the time to read. Lovely bed linen. House temperature was warm too. ( that’s controlled from the manager per funk) so you can inform them if it needs to be turned up or down. We were all happy. I can definitely recommend this treasure.

Dream house. Gordon is an incredible host taking care of every detail to please a guest.

Great facilities and felt very welcomed.

Steep stairs. Mum is 82 and had to sleep on the couch especially as the toilet is downstairs. 1 toilet for 5 people.
