Access information was very clear and when we entered the apartment it was nice and warm, which was very welcoming as it was Baltic outside. Place was absolutely immaculate and the beds are possibly the most comfortable I have slept in. Location was excellent as well, as bang in the city centre which meant only a 10 min walk to/from work.

Nothing at all, great apartment and excellent value for money.

Well lit secured clean Apartment. Ideal for for a couple and a friend. Two rooms and a dining room to sit together.

We booked in on Saturday at 10 pm. As the apartment was in the heart of the city it was too lively late into the night.

Cleanliness Facilities Overrated

The decor was lovely, we were welcomed by flowers. You can tell that the owner looks after their apartment. They pay great attention to detail. The shower was amazing and they had comfy beds. We needed a place to stay urgently and they responded very quickly.

I recently stayed at this wonderful flat and had an exceptional experience. The place itself is fantastic—clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The décor is modern and stylish, making it feel like a home away from home. What made the stay even more enjoyable was the host. He was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. A genuinely nice guy, he was always available to answer any questions and provided great local tips that made my visit even more special. I highly recommend this flat to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The combination of a lovely apartment and an excellent host made for a perfect trip.

I had been left high and dry by another apartment owner (Best Hotel Leicester) They Cancelled 3 days before my stay (Leicester City playing at home, maybe they got a better offer…) I booked Granby Apartments in hurried desperation as I didn’t want to ruin the weekend for myself or for the 2 friends I was sharing with! We stayed in Flat 3, 4 Alfred Place. The owner, Mo, was absolutely charming and phoned me to discuss the damage deposit, which he then kindly waived as I was struggling to find another £200 deposit, as it took a week to get my refund from the cancellation. The apartment is at the top of several flights of stairs but that meant it was relatively quiet. The block and flat seemed safe and secure, with several key-coded doors to get through. And it is ideally located off Granby St, with a public car park next door. We were out at gigs/events with friends most of the weekend and it was a pleasingly short walk back each night. It was clean and tidy, with 2 comfy double beds and a sofa bed, Wi-Fi, hot shower, good fan ventilation in the bathroom, hairdryer, and a functional kitchen with fridge, w/m, smart tv, kettle, toaster, and basic mugs/plates/glasses. Simple but efficient.

Could’ve done with larger (or more) towels as I struggle to wrap one hand towel around me! Building (stairs) smells damp and musty, which was a bit off putting when we arrived, but the flat itself smelled fresh and dry.

Dire. Unspeakably dire.

I was "upgraded" as the cleaner hadn't been in to the 1 bedroom flat. Imagine my joy. It was filthy. It was noisy. The cleaner was still disinfecting it when I arrived. And I mean disinfecting. The carpets were sticky. The shower was broken. It stank. The upholstery was stained. Such cutlery as there was was dirty. I sat on a towel on the sofa rather than catch anything. I went out to eat and drink. Doing so there would have been hazardous. I booked and paid for 4 nights. I stayed for 1, as I arrived too late to leave, and took the loss, booking into nearby hotel. It would probably suit a bunch or rugby boys on a stag doo. I should have heard alarm bells when I was required to pay a soiling deposit in cash into a bank account which was returned to me when I left. I have ignored the request to leave a review for weeks because by nature I'm not a complainer. But Booking.com keeps asking, so here it is. Sorry.
