New 3-Bedroom Apartment Close to City Centre

One armchair and sofa which were not comfortable Mattresses hard

The flat is lovely - location perfect with lots of buses into town which only took 10 minutes. Walkable in 30. We were there for the fringe and it was ideally located for that. Clean and roomy. Host was helpful when required but not much contact needed with them.

The mattresses and bedding could do with an upgrade. Also the sofas in the living area weren’t very comfy for chilling out on. Main shower pressure very low.

Very good place , went there with my family, enough space for 6 or more people, good communication with the city, enough parking space, kitchen was spacious with all essentials.Everyone enjoyed the stay.

Heating was a bit problem , the owner was prompt to come and sort it out but unfortunately didn’t improve heating much, luckily it was summer and good weather so didn’t bother much …. Hope this will not be the situation during winter.

Very spacious apartment that easily fits 6. Small details are thought of, like the soap, shampoo and some kitchen basics. It's well located with good bus connections towards the city centre. The car could easily be parked around the corner.

Beds and chairs could be more comfortable.

The house has a lot of space, it's good for groups.

The beds were all very uncomfortable, the bathrooms don't have enough ventilation and smelled a lot like humidity. The washing machine was still loaded.

There was a lot of storage space and an enormous fridge. The whole apartment is spacious and is in a very good area of Edinburgh. The location was very convenient for visiting the city centre and very quiet. There was a good washing machine and clothes drying rack - very helpful! There's a fantastic Indian restaurant close by - Haldi. I recommend that you book as they fill up fast!

Communication from the host: I tried to contact them in advance of our stay to see if we could arrive early, but I didn't get a response to emails or texts. I eventually phoned them 48 hours before and got hold of them. Once we did arrive, I texted the host to confirm whether the apartment was ready, but was sent an incorrect (standard) text which meant that we sat around waiting in the car when it actually was ready for us. Parking: There is a lot of parking available, but be warned, it's only available after 4pm on a Friday. I fear you might be fined if you park during the day on weekdays. Also, be aware that there is a mosque across the way from the apartment. We arrived at lunchtime on a Friday and there was no parking nearby for a couple of blocks. The beds: The mattress are very old and worn out. The springs have gone in almost all the beds, so there are dents and bumps that making sleeping on them quite uncomfortable. Also, a couple of the beds seem to have duvets that are for children - no long enough to cover my feet and I'm only 160cm tall! I can see that other guests have complained about the beds in the past, but they haven't been replaced. The shower: On 'high', it was impossible to get the shower to be a reasonable temperature. It was either scalding hot or freezing. If you put it on 'eco', and set the dial to the 4pm/5pm position, then the water is an okay temperature. The water pressure is pretty poor though, as it's an electric shower. Lighting: There is an enormous number of lights in the ceilings of the apartment and many bulbs are popped. The chairs around the dining room table: One chair was completely broken on our arrival and I reported it, but we soon discovered that almost all the chairs were broken or nearly broken, so please be careful when sitting on them.

Nothing the accommodation was loved by all who stayed.
