The Thatches

Location was good as expected

When we got to the venue, there were no towels, no soap for dishes, no shampoos no hand soap, no toilet papers no iron. We were told its a self catering accommodation we had to bring our own. Very strange as there was nothing that suggested such when we booked. Otherwise Wendy is a nice lady but her hosting skills needed some working on. The following morning we had to wake up very early as it was raining and the room we were in was raining. Double room was 2 beds with 2 separate comforters, mind you were were 3 couples. Hay shame I would never recommend Thatches

Nice and spacious. Well-equipped kitchen with large fridge. Braai-area outside with seating. Very nice garden. Swimming pool. Very supportive and friendly manager. Safe inside parking close to chalet. Wide range of TV channels.

Take note that there is no wi-fi. Kei Mouth only has 1 small supermarket where you can only get the most basic stuff. Our chalet did not have doap, shampoo, etc so come with everything. The closest place eith a little better supermarket is MorgN Bay, 15km away.

Ground staff were very loud, remote didn't work for driveway, no one on hand to assist when we were stuck in the property when we wanted to leave in the morning and had to make a plan ourselves
