Incredible view at the sea and sundowner. Ask for rooms higher than the city wall. Roof room like an eagles place.

Excellent location. Very friendly owner who did his best to be helpful. Lovely (shared) terrace with beautiful sunset sea views over fortress walls. Two rooms had no windows. Bathroom was weird shape and we kept bashing our heads. Main problem was a gas leak that could have been very dangerous and gave us headaches and nausea for two days before it was spotted.

The location is fantastic. The host is helpful and very friendly. His shop is located right by the entrance so he's basically around most of the time. The views are great.

The shower is right on top of the toilet, making it a bit messy at times. After showering, you'll have to dry off the toilet and floor. Otherwise the shower is good, hot water and plenty of pressure. The terrace area on the pictures is a shared space with other apartments.

This is a simple bedroom with private bathroom and shared patio on level 3 (what some would call the fourth floor) of a room above the owner's studio. It's a flat, ~15-minute walk from the Supratours bus stop. The initial entry door is deceiving in a GOOD way because, after you get up the stairs above the lower floors, (which have no view over the medina wall,) you arrive onto a patio with views over the medina walls of the surf pounding against the coastal rocks. The view faces west, and the sunset (even from the room) is amazing and the stars plentiful. The patio is shared with another room on the same level so make a friend! The bedroom/bathroom are clean and, unlike much of the features in Moroccan room, everything works! The owner is a delight to work with and manages an art gallery on the ground floor. The price wasn't bad for me, but might have been higher than the area average, though the view made it worth the money. I loved Essaouira so much I stayed an extra day and I know I'll go back someday.

The stairs are narrow and twisty. If you require a kitchen, don't stay in this flat but there are others on lower floors (without this magic view) that appear to have a kitchen. I found the flat with no issue, but I can see how others might not given the complexity of the medina.

The host was always available and helpful, the apartment was clean and well located with a lovely view. Located in the medina, we were very central to shops and restaurants.

I'm a solo female traveller and I spent 7 nights here, no regrets. I had a wonderful ocean view which made half of my stay. Abdel is an amazing host, a true gentleman who invited me for dinner in his favourite restaurant - an interesting local experience! The location is purely fantastic, you're close to everything in the medina

This is a no frills accommodation, don't expect any extras. Abdel, you should add some shelves in the bathroom so people can place their soap, toothpaste etc

The location of the property was in the old medina and close to everything eg. Shops, restaurants etc. The view from the balcony was lovely. There was plenty of hot water to have a nice shower. The room was a good size and the mattress was comfortable.

The bathroom was a wet room, so the toilet would get wet when showering.
