A casa di Iole

The apartment was a very good choice for one night stay for a family with kids, after our evening flight from Cluj to Rome. The host was extremely friendly and supportive, she provided all the information we needed. She also provided to us some cookies, jam and milk for the kids.

I'm very fare with my reviews, sometimes a little bit harsh so I'm saying this with the upmost sincerity. It felt like home.

The single bed mattress was a uncomfortable but that is just a matter of taste. I prefer hard beds.

We stayed one night before a flight from Fiumicino Airport. The room is quiet, spacious, well lit, and comfortable. GianCarlo and Iole are exemplary hosts!

every thing was perfect. the host gave attention to every aspect of the room in order to make it comfortable for us. they were so kind and helpful. we definitely will come back to this place.

Nice house and garden, well equipped. Helpful and friendly host. Location is a bit deviated from Roma, had to initially use taxis but then learned to use cheap bus routes. Highly recommended for longer stays due to its price-value!

Out host met us upon arrival and was extremely helpful and informative and made us feel very welcomed. She recommended a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We went to the seafood restaurant which was excellent. The lower level (main floor) of the house was traditional in decor and exceptionally clean and well taken care of. It was great to have a kitchen available although we did not cook but we had an expresso in the morning and some packaged snacks that were there for us. She arranged for a taxi to come and take us to the airport which was great! Highly recommended if you need a place close to the airport!

There was nothing not to like.

My daughter & I loved it! It was a traditional Italian home with all the amenities with the charm of original style - not the modern style of many refurbished apartments. The weather was lovely, so we kept the windows and doors open during the day and because the property had a wall, felt very safe. Barking dogs at night compelled us to close up & turn on the AC unit and we slept great. We walked around the neighborhood in the evening and had an amazing seafood dinner at Mammaro’s. The host assisted us in setting up a taxi to the airport for an early morning flight which was very helpful. Just a consideration…we brought the train from Rome to FCO and took the local bus to a stop within walking distance of the property. It was very complicated & time consuming for us…getting the ticket, figuring out where to get off, etc. We were being adventurous, but in the future, I would set up transport with a taxi - the hosts provided a number for us to coordinate one, so I’m confident it would be much easier than our experience with the bus.
