Can’t fault the stay. Suzana was really helpful with her recommendations and the room was perfectly equipped, and in a fab, central location, whilst the black out blinds made sure there was no light or sound from the street. Perfectly modern, and clean. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Comfortable room and great location

Spacious room, wonderful host, a jewel of a city. We had a wonderful 4 nights in Ljubljana, made even better by our host Suzana. The apartment was clean, spacious, bright and airy and steps away from the main square of the city, the river and the friendly bars and restaurants along the river banks. Suzana was very helpful, guided us to the secure parking that she provided and was always available. We can’t say more about Ljubljana - it is a historic city with a quiet, confident vibe. Easy to walk around, lots to see, many small squares, friendly people and modern shopping if that’s what you want. It’s a great base from which to visit local villages. We have lived and travelled extensively in Europe, west and east, and Slovenia is special. We have no hesitation in recommending Twix. We hope to be back.

Nothing - well, it faces a principal walking access to the historic centre on a dead end street that is also a drop off point for taxis - so some late nights were quite noisy with vigorous conversations.

The host lives close by and is both very attentive and very accommodating. We stayed for four nights and I could write a lot about what we liked. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, clean, very central, convenient for restaurants (do try Bascarsija) and supermarkets, and is also very safe and secure. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of storage, and the provision of hot water excellent. We found it ideal for two people and would very happily stay there again.

These are simply observations and not complaints, The host was very quick to pick up our bags and carry them up the stairs for us, but the three flights of stairs could be an issue for some people. It is important to note that you have to contact the host by telephone when you arrive so that she can let you in. This means that you need international roaming or a local SIM card. Fortunately, a local kindly telephoned the host on our behalf when we arrived and we were able to purchase a SIM card from a supermarket (HOFFER) about one kilometre away later in the day.

Excellent location, close to the town square and triple bridge. The facility in the apartment was adequate. Suzana was very helpful.

Three flights of stairs leading up to first story apartment! The iron Railing of the stairs is worn out and broken, not safe to hold, felt unstable with luggage.
