La Casa dei Fiori

Calm, out-of-the-way location; cheerful, spacious, economic accommodation.

Despite excellent, responsive written Whasapp communication with the host and a well-equioped kitchen, welcoming touches were lacking. A bottle of water in the fridge or coffee would have been very much appreciated for us to find upon arrival. There were few neighborhood resources within easy access. There were two “bath”rooms and only one with a shower which was very narrow and hard to maneuver for anyone over 5ft 5in (167 cm).

House was very large, suitable for a family. Although on a road it wasn't noisy, the main bedroom was at the back of the house. We didn't meet the owner but she was very easy to contact by Whatsapp. Few good restaurants within walking distance. A big supermarket was very close by, easy to walk to. Short walk to the railway station, much quieter than La Spezia central when catching train to Cinque Terra but may need a connection to get home.

Although there was free parking on the street close to the house it was a very popular area to park in. First place I have stayed in where I was expected to take the rubbish done the road to the central waste bins.

Everything was excellent

the house is really nice, although a little cold. very beautiful garden and location. Highly recommended.

Clean and perfect for family

The apartment is in a great location and easy to find. The host was brilliant with very clear instructions. The apartment was very clean with everything you needed for a short stay with a family. Or a long stay if you prefer The bed in the main bedroom was exceptionally comfortable, and I wish we'd stayed more than one night to really get the full benefit of this lovely apartment.

Cozy, charming and inviting. Great location close to shopping and rail station.

Location short walk from train and local restaurants. Clean, comfortable, no stairs.
