White Castle villa

There are two apartments in the house. One on the ground floor and one upstairs. The pool was great. Indispensable in this climate. They clean it every second day. The owner came often and asked if everything is ok or if we needed anything. The beach is close to the apartman and very nice. There is a nearby supermarket about 500 meters away. No night life (luckily). it's quite a quiet place, but on the weekends a lot of locals come to the beach and play music, eat and have a good time together. The atmosphere is very good.

The equipment is not exactly "up to date". Some things need to be replaced. There is no cutting board in the kitchen. The knives are blunt.

The villa was more than what we expected. The owner had gone out of his way to put a welcome pack in the kitchen for our arrival. The villa was immaculate and had air conditioning in each bedroom. There is more than ample storage to hang your clothes up. The beds were really comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The pool was lovely to swim in and was cleaned every day. The owner even went the extra mile and arranged to leave us some coconut water in the fridge after having the coconuts cut down on the property. The villa wasn't too far from the beach where there were some great vendors with local food and drinks. There are a number of restaurants along the beach front with some amazing food on the menus. Further up the road is the supermarket. The local buses are also on the beach road as well as the taxis.

The shower door requires attention.

The villa was all we could have asked for a family of four. The 3 bedrooms were spacious, the AC worked well, the kitchen was well equipped, the barb que was a mini Weber, cable TV, and the pool was the largest in the neighborhood. The villa was a short couple-minute walk to the best beach in Mauritius. All the tourist options were available at the tourist agency nearby or on the beach. The guy on the beach looked a little spooky (missing some teeth,) but he was super professional and dialed in on all opportunities. A money changer at the end of the street by the beach. Lots of restaurants, the supermarket is a 3-4 minute walk away. Bus service to the malls from the beach. It was great and a great value.

Good pool, rooms are big. 5 min walk to the beach.

Air Conditioners noise from second floor at the night. Some things need to be repeared/renewed.

Great place, clean, easy to access, great pool. Ideal for family stay.
