Apartment A3 Talja

The unit was easy to locate as we were driving from the airport. Instruction to obtained the keys were given via an email few days earlier. But in booking.com it stated that someone will meet us up upon check in. I made the booking 2 months prior with understanding that someone will pass us the keys. So we waited until 4 pm even though we could have entered early if not for the conflicting instruction. The house was spacious for 2 of us. Kitchen was fully equipped and made it easy for us to cook our meals. They even provide sugar, cooking oils etc. The switch button for the sauna is located at the base of the sauna heater. I was able to enjoy the sauna few times during the stay. Oonasvaara park is literally behind the house.

Conflicting instruction in getting the keys causing inconveniences. The house was not very warm in winter.

The chalet was lovely, warm and very clean. The location was remote but also accessible. The slopes were near by, the walks were lovely. We saw the northern lights outside the apartment. It was great.

There were extra pillows supplied but no pillow cases.

Everything it was amazing! Very clean , veeeery warm. Santa Village very close, ski slope nearby. It's a very spacious apartment and you can find all what you need to cook,washing machine etc. Me and my family we had a great time in Apartament A3 Talja . Thank you so much, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND and promise to come again here in 2026 !!!

The accommodation was spacious and very clean. The outside area is lovely for the children to have a safe space to play in the snow. Bedding, towels, essential toiletries and cleaning products were all there which is so helpful if you are not travelling with a car. WiFi works brilliantly. We were very happy with our stay here especially as we thought it was very reasonably priced and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

If you don’t have transport, the property is a 15 minute walk from the nearest K-mart and the bus stop which goes to Santa Claus Village. It’s a lovely walk over the bridge but just something to consider if you are relying on public transport.

The house was spotless and bigger than we thought. If into skiing then is ideal as is located close to the ski slopes. We had a car so gave us easy access into Rovaniemi and to Santa Claus Village - the property is roughly halfway between both. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Can't really comment on this as we were very happy with everything. As Non Sauna experts maybe should have instructions on how to use it. Also as above, we hired a car so location was not an issue but maybe it would have been if we had to use the bus network.

The location was great, directly in front of ski slopes. The apartment has everything we may need. In general we were happy to stay there. There were two toilets which is also great.

Nothing, only do not forget to bring shampoo.
