Piriko Piccolo Apartment

It was very close to railway and bus station.

Apartment was a reasonable walk from the various highlights of Rovaniemi. It was nice to start our time in Finland with a view of snow from the large windows. A fairly short walk to bus and train stations makes ongoing travel easier. It is not so far into the centre of the city for other bus connections, bars, and restaurants. Host Ilona was responsive, friendly and informative.

Warm and welcoming host, and a clean apartment. Apartment is simple but has everything we need. Location is away from the bustling area, however has a supermarket nearby for us to get what we need to cook.

Heating was a bit low for -20 degrees outside

Host upgrade us to a larger apartment so we did not stay at this accommodation.

Host upgraded the apartment we booked to a larger one, which also had a washing machine, which was a real bonus for us.

Curtains could have been a little heavier to block out the sun at night, although this was the same in all of the accommodation we booked in Scandinavia.
