First Aparthotel Comet

I initially had high hopes for my stay at this apartment, given its prime location and promising description. Shortly after my arrival, I realized I had left my hat in the apartment after stepping out. However, the issues that followed made this small mistake the least of my concerns. Despite the listing’s assurance of air conditioning, the apartment was unbearably hot. When I reached out to the owner for assistance, I was informed that the AC was regulated by the building, which offered no relief. As a result, I endured a night of discomfort and restless sleep. Following my miserable night, I contacted the owner again, this time about retrieving my forgotten hat. He assured me he would notify the cleaners, and I thanked him, indicating I would await his response. Now, mid-August, I am still waiting for that reply. While the apartment’s location was excellent, it was not as new as advertised, showing slight signs of wear. Though not a major issue, it added to my overall disappointment. In conclusion, what could have been a decent stay was marred by the owner’s lack of concern and the unresolved air conditioning issues. Sadly, I would not choose to stay here again.

Very nice and clean apartment, true to the advertisement. Very friendly and helpful stuff that we never saw as check-in was contact free.

It is in a good location, with a supermarket, pharmacy, and public transport within easy walking distance. Very clean, well-equipped and secure. We arrived very late, and the key collection arrangement (lock box at nearby restaurant) was easy and straightforward.

We visited in mid-July and the unit is not well-equipped for hot weather. The unit is not air-conditioned, and even on the 5th floor, the air was so still that opening windows didn’t help. The unit was very hot, making it difficult to sleep. The addition of a pedestal/desk fan to move the air in hot weather would make a big difference to guests’ comfort.

A cosy, spacious and comfortable apartment at a good price.
